Dominic Matthew Jackson is the author of six books, including two collections of poetry. His writing has appeared in Ripple & Ravel, Saga, and Pessoa.

Originally from Los Angeles, Dominic now resides in Des Moines, where he serves as the lead pastor of The Gateway Church. He lives with his wife, Megan, their two toddlers, and a Goldendoodle pup named Birdie.

His newest book, You Were a House on Fire, is set to be released in 2027.
